Varun Bahl takes a bow

Times passed by took centrestage on Day 5 of the India Couture Week 2017. While veteran designer Monisha Jaising turned to the opera for her assortment, designer Varun Bahl invoked Czech painter Alphonse Mucha’s works for his present titled “Dream Nouveau”.

Jaising introduced her assortment on a ramp that was styled just like the stage of an opera home, with balconies flanking the 2 sides. The assortment featured womenswear, with idea clothes and robes that includes excessive slits so as to add a up to date twist. Ruched clothes and skirts in sequined, shimmery cloth, velvet, tulle, organza and satin shaped a big chunk of the gathering.
