ALBANY (WRGB) – Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers are asserting a brand new safety checkpoint process at Albany International Airport on Thursday.
The process requires vacationers to put all private digital units, bigger than a cellular phone, in bins for X-ray screening. The TSA says its designed to handle the present terror menace by elevating the baseline of aviation safety.
This process is being launched nationwide.
The TSA introduced the process over the summer season, and examined it in 10 U.S. airports. The process then expanded to all airports over the previous few months.
